Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication growth in a dynamic school setting in the Houston, TX area. We are seeking a passionate and licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a dedicated educational team, offering both full and part-time options to fit your schedule and career goals. You'll have input into your caseload, with age preferences discussed and considered during the interview process. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping students achieve meaningful milestones through collaboration and evidence-based speech and language interventions.
Desired Qualifications:
Current and active Texas state license as an SLPA at the time of employment Experience or practicum work in school-based settings preferred Excellent communication and documentation skills Adaptable, collaborative work style Familiarity with IEP processes and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
