Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2026 school year in Kingsland, TX. This contract role is based within a school setting and offers the opportunity to support students requiring speech and language services.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting licensed speech-language pathologists with therapy sessions tailored to student needs. Gathering and managing caseload details to ensure accurate documentation and service provision. Implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals under supervision. Collaborating with educators and healthcare professionals to support student progress. Maintaining professional communication with families and school staff.
Qualifications and desired experience:
Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Experience working in school or healthcare settings with pediatric populations preferred. Strong organizational skills for caseload management and data collection. Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt techniques as directed. Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
