Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting K-12 students. Qualifications:
Hold current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred Comfortable working with K-12 students with diverse backgrounds and needs Strong collaboration skills to work closely with supervising SLPs, teachers, and other support staff Ability to assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Organized, reliable, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language services to students as directed by the supervising SLP Support the development and implementation of therapeutic activities and interventions Track student progress and assist with documentation Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and support teams to promote student success Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers regarding student participation as needed Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions Those who enjoy working hands-on with children of all ages, thrive in a school community, and are eager for a new contract role are encouraged to pursue this opening.
