Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students' communication development within a school setting in New Caney, TX. This contract position offers the chance to work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists to implement therapy plans and help children achieve their speech and language goals.
Responsibilities:
Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision Monitor and document student progress during therapy sessions Prepare materials and activities designed to support speech and language development Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student success Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working in school environments preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow detailed therapy plans and adapt as needed Commitment to supporting children's educational and communicative growth
