Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant school-based environment, working side-by-side with a dedicated supervisory SLP. From helping with screenings to implementing treatment plans, you'll champion student progress across the academic year.
Qualifications:
Active Texas SLPA License required Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferred Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills Familiarity with IEPs and school-based documentation processes a plus Comfortable handling a dynamic caseload of K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
Assist SLP in speech and language screenings for assigned students Implement treatment programs or IEP goals set by the supervising SLP Observe students and participate in ARD committee meetings Prepare clinical materials and maintain accurate therapy documentation Collect, track, and document student performance data for ongoing progress monitoring Assist with Medicaid/SHARS billing documentation as needed Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment for diverse student needs This full-time role begins August 10, 2026, and continues through May 27, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, spread across five days.
