Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a part-time, contract position in Pearland, TX, supporting two elementary campuses. This opportunity involves working approximately 15 hours per week, sharing the schedule with another SLPA. The role is based in a school setting with established therapy spaces and is ideal for professionals interested in collaborating closely within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students under the supervision of bilingual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs). Collaborate and communicate effectively with supervising SLPs to support student progress. Implement therapy schedules that are already established, ensuring students receive consistent and effective intervention. Utilize designated therapy spaces at both campuses to conduct sessions. Support and contribute to a team environment focused on student success and therapy excellence.
Qualifications:
Valid SLPA certification or equivalent credentials. Experience or interest in working within school settings. Ability to collaborate with bilingual SLPs, providing support and receiving supervision. Strong communication skills and professionalism in student interactions. Comfortable working a split schedule across two campus locations.
