Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). You'll play a vital role at a dedicated campus focused on early childhood and lower primary (ECSE 3-1st grade), serving a caseload of 35-40 students with a variety of needs, including articulation, language, and pragmatic skills. This position is ideal for those passionate about making a real difference in young children's communication abilities. Supervision of one SLPA is also part of this role, allowing you to use and expand your leadership skills.
Qualifications:
Current, active SLPA license for the state of Texas Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred Strong skills in addressing articulation, language, and pragmatic needs Ability to supervise another SLPA beneficial
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to an elementary caseload according to IEP goals Support students across a variety of communication needs (excluding AAC-focused interventions) Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress Maintain accurate records and data collection for all sessions and student outcomes Supervise and provide guidance to one additional SLPA on campus This contract runs from August 19, 2026, through May 14, 2027. You'll work 37.5 hours a week, Monday through Friday, on a consistent schedule. As part of this role, you can expect a competitive hourly range from $35 to $40, paid weekly.
