We are currently seeking an experienced School-Based Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, in-person position for the upcoming school year . This opportunity will involve supporting students with a manageable caseload in a collaborative educational environment. Position Overview The primary purpose of a Speech Language Pathology Assistant position is to provide treatment and support for students with speech, language, and swallowing deficits within an educational setting. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will help students achieve their maximum communication potential through individualized therapy and educational support services. Essential Responsibilities Assist the supervising SLP in identifying, evaluating, and supporting students with speech and language impairments Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide direct speech-language services to students from preschool through 12th grade in accordance with IEP goals Develop and maintain therapy schedules and documentation Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, staff meetings, and other special education planning sessions Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers to support student success Assist with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and implementation Utilize effective instructional strategies tailored to individual student needs Maintain accurate and compliant records in accordance with district, state, and federal regulations Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment Utilize technology effectively to deliver speech-language services Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field Minimum of one year of SLPA experience in a school setting or pediatric environment Strong technology skills and ability to provide speech services using digital platforms Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and time management skills Knowledge of assistive technology and special education regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compensation & Benefits Compensation Salary Range:
