Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year! This contract opportunity places you in a dynamic educational setting working with K-12 students, where your expertise will empower learners to achieve impressive growth in their communication skills. You'll collaborate closely with speech-language pathologists and dedicated school staff to deliver targeted interventions and make a meaningful impact.
Desired Qualifications:
Active SLPA license required in accordance with state regulations Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred Proficiency supporting and implementing IEP goals and related speech-language activities Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team Professional, positive attitude and dedication to student successKey Responsibilities:
Implement speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP Provide direct and indirect services to K-12 students across varied needs Document student progress and assist with data collection for IEP reporting Contribute to the development of activities and strategies to boost student engagement Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development Maintain confidentiality and adhere to best practices and ethical guidelinesWhat You'll Enjoy:
