Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication and education goals in a dynamic school environment near San Antonio, TX. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families, making a positive impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full academic year, working with a diverse student population at the middle school level. Bilingual skills are valued but not mandatory, and you'll have the chance to use your expertise in assessment, therapy, and advocacy every day.
Qualifications and Desired Background:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Experience in a school-based setting preferred Bilingual proficiency is a plus, though not required Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Conducting thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Delivering targeted interventive and therapeutic speech-language services Documenting student progress, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance records Engaging in collaborative problem-solving with teachers and other school professionals Facilitating parent meetings and providing resources or education as needed
