Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This in-person position begins August 10, 2026, running through May 27, 2027. You'll work closely with a caseload of approximately 60 diverse students, delivering interventions that truly make a difference in their educational journeys. Qualifications and Experience:
Current, active SLPA license in Texas Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required Experience supporting K-12 students Exceptional communication and documentation abilities Ready for an in-person interview
Role Details and Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language intervention to K-12 students under professional supervision Collaborate with educators and other therapy professionals to tailor student goals Monitor progress and update documentation in accordance with established protocols Communicate effectively with families and staff about student development Maintain compliance with Texas state guidelines and district procedures Work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday As part of this assignment, you'll receive competitive weekly pay between $35 and $40 per hour, based on your experience and credentials.
