Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available for the 2026 school year in Spicewood, TX. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to students Assist in gathering and managing caseload details efficiently Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist Monitor student progress and document therapy sessions accurately Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to optimize communication outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state Experience in school-based speech-language pathology settings preferred Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational skills to manage caseload documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with healthcare settings related to speech-language pathology is a plus
