Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school setting as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students' communication and learning from July 30, 2026, to May 28, 2027. This contract opportunity offers a stimulating environment near Sugar Land, TX, where your skills will help foster student growth throughout the academic year. With a regular workweek of 37.5 hours and compensation of $64.00 per hour, you'll find both professional and personal rewards in this engaging role.
What We're Looking For:
Valid SLPA license/certification for Texas Previous experience working in school environments (preferred) Solid understanding of speech-language services for children and adolescents Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Organizational skills and the ability to manage caseloads efficiently
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP Assisting with screenings, therapy, and progress monitoring for students Adhering to IEP goals and supporting their implementation Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records Collaborating closely with educators, therapists, and families to maximize student outcomes Participating in staff meetings, trainings, and consultations as required This contract position is ideal for dedicated SLPAs who thrive in academic settings, working collaboratively to create positive, impactful experiences for students.
