Job Description

Excel Psychology is pleased to announce an opening for a part-time Speech Language Technician (SLT). This is an independent contractor position with flexible scheduling and the possibility of future employment with benefits. Speech Language Technician (SLT)
Start Date:
8/15/2026 Job responsibilities include the following: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Implement treatment plans and therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP. Deliver individual and small-group interventions targeting speech, language, social communication, fluency, and other communication needs. Collect and maintain data on student performance, progress, and goal attainment. Assist the supervising SLP in monitoring student progress and adjusting intervention strategies as directed. Prepare therapy materials and maintain an organized therapy environment. Document service delivery and maintain accurate records in accordance with state requirements. Assist with speech-language screenings and other non-diagnostic activities as permitted by licensure and supervision requirements. Communicate professionally with school personnel, families, and other stakeholders regarding student services, as directed by the supervising SLP. Maintain compliance with all applicable state, district, and professional standards. Travel between assigned school sites as needed.
Compensation:
between $29.65 and $37.23/hour depending on experience.
