Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a real impact supporting students in a dynamic school setting! This contract opportunity offers Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) the chance to collaborate across multiple school locations near Falls Church, VA, playing a key part in facilitating communication growth for young learners. Share your expertise in speech and communication disorders and help students reach their full potential in an engaging K-12 environment. This position runs from August 24th, 2026, through June 12th, 2027, offering consistent full-time hours (35 per week, 7 hours per day) for the full academic year. Successful candidates must provide their primary zip code for assignment to schools within the district.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Speech or Communication Disorders (required) Eligibility for or possession of a Virginia SLP license (SLPA license not required or applicable in VA) Experience supporting SLPs in a school-based setting preferred Ability to adapt to changing school environments across multiple locations Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of students
Core Responsibilities:
