Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will make a significant difference in the school setting. Supervision is provided, giving you the confidence and support to excel, whether your caseload falls within elementary or middle school levels. With approximately 55 students, you'll have the chance to create a meaningful impact each day.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license/certification required Experience in school-based speech therapy settings preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLP, educators, and parents Strong organizational and documentation skills Adaptability to serve diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
Support students with speech and language needs under the guidance of a licensed SLP Implement individualized communication interventions in group and one-on-one settings Contribute to the development and execution of IEP goals Maintain thorough records and provide progress updates as requested Communicate regularly with teachers and families regarding student progress Participate in team meetings as necessary This contract position offers an engaging opportunity to advance your career in speech-language therapy within a supportive, education-focused environment.
