Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) passionate about making a difference in an elementary school setting. Offering part-time hours—just three hours per day—this position allows flexibility while delivering much-needed support to students and school staff. Desired Qualifications:
Experience working as a SLPA, preferably in both school and healthcare settings Bachelor's degree or certificate in Speech Pathology required Ability to adapt interventions to each student's individual needs Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Support students in achieving their individualized education program (IEP) goals Document student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student success Participate in school team meetings as required
