HOURS NEEDED

We are open Monday through Thursday 8-7 and Fridays 8-5. We prefer someone who can work until 7 PM at least a few days weekly, but are flexible with hours. We are open to discussing scheduling options.

Responsibilities:

Serving a caseload of children and their families with a wide range of disabilities and disorders Evaluations Attend meetings with supervisor, team meetings, and department meetings.

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology VA and WV state license for Speech Language Pathology (or in process) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence Positive, compassionate personality CPR certification CE Maintenance annually Current knowledge of treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skills Excellent written and verbal skills, attention to detail Identify and meet patients' goals and needs Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Create fitness and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally Consult and practice with other health professionals Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress Complete necessary documentation in a timely fashion
