Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make an impact in a vibrant educational setting as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity offers a chance to support K-12 students and collaborate closely with dedicated education professionals, providing vital communication and language assistance. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Washington state SLPA license (required) Previous experience supporting Speech-Language Pathologists in school environments strongly preferred Comfortably manage a diverse, K-12 caseload Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Adaptable and proactive approach to collaborating with educators, families, and students Open to travel candidates with the appropriate licensure
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language support services as directed by supervising SLP Implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Collect, track, and maintain accurate documentation on student progress Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and activities Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning when appropriate Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
