Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Experience an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the upcoming 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Work full-time (32 hours per week, September 2, 2026, through June 11, 2027) supporting K-12 students' communication needs in an engaging and supportive educational environment. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about helping students thrive and eager to collaborate with teachers and staff.
Key Requirements:
Valid Washington SLPA license is required Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt to a diverse caseload of K-12 students Desire to support speech and language goals under supervision of an SLP Organized, reliable, and flexible to meet varying student needs Travel SLPA candidates welcome to apply
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to students under SLP supervision Assist in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans Document student progress and therapy outcomes Support teachers and staff in fostering an inclusive learning environment Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making Maintain detailed records as required by school and district policies This role offers the chance to be an important part of a school's mission to support every child's ability to communicate and succeed.
