Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification is sought for the 2026-2027 academic year to support a very small K-12 charter school located in Port Orchard, WA. This contracted position offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse caseload across a broad range of grade levels in a tight-knit educational environment ideal for professionals who value personalized student interaction.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultations for K-12 students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitor and document student progress with clear, professional reporting Participate in educational planning meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations Manage caseload independently in a smaller school setting
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working with a K-12 caseload preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills conducive to collaboration in a small school community Ability to manage responsibilities effectively within an independent setting Willingness to work as a travel candidate considered Benefits of this role include competitive hourly compensation based on experience, plus the professional satisfaction of making a meaningful impact in a small charter school environment that nurtures every student.
