Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in middle and high school settings. We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a contract role from August 2026 through November 2026. In this full-time position, you'll make a genuine difference by working collaboratively with educators and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited SLPA program and current licensure (or eligibility) as an SLPA Experience working with adolescent learners in school or healthcare environments Strong understanding of age-appropriate communication strategies and development Ability to follow individualized education and therapy plans under supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Excellent written and verbal communication skills Adaptability and a proactive, collaborative approach
Your Role Will Include:
Providing direct therapy services to students in both group and individual settings Assisting with the development and implementation of communication goals in collaboration with supervising SLP and instructional staff Collecting and documenting data on student progress Supporting classroom strategies for speech and language development Contributing to a positive, inclusive school environment by nurturing students' communication skills Participating in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development This position offers a highly structured schedule at 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to focus on student success during regular school hours, and provides the satisfaction of tangible, daily impact.
