Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering high-quality speech therapy services to children birth-21. Your expertise will help improve communication skills, foster confidence, and promote positive developmental outcomes. This position offers great flexibility setting your own schedule and is paid per visit (not per hour). Hours per week are flexible and pay can be negotiated based on experience. Please reach out for more information! Responsibilities Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients across pediatric populations. Support therapy sessions focused on speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders within clinical setting. Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately to inform ongoing treatment strategies. Prepare therapy materials and assist with activities designed to enhance speech and language development. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment adhering to all health and safety protocols. Skills Knowledge of pediatrics, early intervention strategies, and play-based therapy practices. Strong understanding of physiology related to speech production, swallowing mechanisms, and anatomy relevant to speech-language pathology. Experience supporting speech therapy interventions for patients with diverse needs related to communication disorders. Excellent organizational skills for managing documentation in daily notes and progress notes.
Pay:
$27.00 - $33.00 per hour
