Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract A fantastic opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting near Cora, WY. This contract role is perfect for enthusiastic professionals eager to support students throughout the entire school year while working full-time hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active SLPA license in the state of Wyoming or eligibility to obtain Experience in both school-based and healthcare-related speech-language environments is highly desirable Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and parents Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals in a supportive atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs Support the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist with therapy planning, data collection, and documentation Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to facilitate student progress Adapt therapy activities to meet individual student needs in either individual or small group settings Maintain accurate records of student performance, session notes, and progress reports Participate in meetings and professional development as required by the school This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative educational environment, allowing you to broaden your experience and make a difference in students' lives over the course of the full school year.
