Arizona Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Experience:
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize all dental instruments, equipment, and tools in accordance with infection control procedures and regulatory standards. Operate sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other tools used for sterilization. Ensure sterilization processes are completed efficiently and thoroughly, maintaining accurate records of sterilization cycles and documentation. Regularly inspect sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning and promptly report any issues for maintenance or repair. Follow proper protocols for handling and disposal of contaminated materials, including gloves, gauze, and other medical waste. Maintain an organized sterilization area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked, including disinfectants, sterilizing agents, and packaging materials.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures in a clinical environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures precisely.
