We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a travel assignment in West Hollywood, CA. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies for use in surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in sterile processing, hold the necessary certifications, and be ready to work the night shift as part of a dedicated team.Key Responsibilities:
Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for use in medical procedures Ensure that all instruments are properly sterilized, packaged, and labeled according to hospital protocols Inspect and maintain sterilization equipment to ensure safe and effective operation Work closely with the surgical team to ensure timely and efficient instrument availability Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols Document sterilization and processing activities as required by hospital standards Maintain a clean and organized sterile processing areaRequirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as aSterile Processing Technician Certification:
CBSPD (Certified Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) orIAHCSMM/HSPA
