• 2300-0730; Every Other Weekend Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join our Surgical Services team.

This position plays a key role in ensuring the cleanliness, sterilization, and readiness of instruments and equipment used in patient care and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in maintaining high standards of safety and infection control.

Responsibilities :

Clean, decontaminate, and disinfect surgical instruments and medical equipment Inspect, assemble, and package instruments for sterilization Operate sterilization equipment (e.g., autoclaves) and ensure proper functioning Monitor and document sterilization processes to meet safety standards Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and ensure adequate stock levels Distribute sterile instruments and equipment to operating rooms and departments Follow strict infection control and safety guidelines Requirements CBSPD or

IAHCSMM/HSPA

Certification is required.

• 5+ Years experience required. They will be working without supervision on this shift.
