$46/hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Tech Manager to lead and oversee Sterile Processing Department operations in a high-volume healthcare environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient department performance, regulatory compliance, instrument availability, staff accountability, and operational excellence across all shifts. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience within sterile processing operations and a proven ability to build high-performing, engaged teams while maintaining quality and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Lead daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department across multiple shifts Ensure consistent instrument availability aligned with surgical schedules Maintain audit-ready compliance, documentation, and infection control standards Monitor and improve operational metrics, workflow efficiency, and quality outcomes Supervise and support department supervisors and frontline staff Develop staffing plans and maintain shift accountability Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented department culture Drive continuous process improvement initiatives Ensure adherence to sterile processing regulations and best practices Support staff development, engagement, and performance management Required Qualifications CRCST Certification required Minimum 5 years of sterile processing experience Minimum 3 years of leadership experience with multi-shift operational oversight Strong understanding of: Sterile processing workflows Infection prevention standards Regulatory compliance Department performance metrics Experience managing supervisors or frontline leadership teams Ability to build accountability while maintaining a supportive team environment Strong communication skills in English (read, write, and speak) Preferred Qualifications CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader) certification CIS (Certified Instrument Specialist) certification Experience in high-volume, high-acuity surgical environments Skills & Competencies Sterile processing operations management Staff leadership and team development Quality assurance and compliance Workflow optimization Surgical instrument processing Problem-solving and decision-making Operational efficiency and accountability Strong interpersonal and organizational skills For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
