(PRN) Upland, CA 91786 (Ontario Area) $30.00 per Hour PRN / As Needed Schedule Behind every successful procedure is a Sterile Processing Technician who ensures patient safety comes first. T&T Staffing is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to support a busy healthcare team in the Ontario/Upland area. Why You'll Love This Opportunity Competitive pay $30.00/hour Flexible PRN schedule Essential role in patient safety and surgical success Fast-paced healthcare environment Opportunity to work alongside experienced clinical teams What You'll Do Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment Operate sterilization equipment according to established safety and quality standards Monitor and document sterilization cycles and biological testing results Prepare surgical instrument trays and sterile supplies for procedures Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and equipment Ensure compliance with infection control policies and department standards Identify damaged instruments and escalate concerns appropriately Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to support daily operations What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Sterile Processing certification preferred (or required per facility guidelines) Previous Sterile Processing or healthcare experience preferred Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control practices, and medical terminology Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ideal Candidate You take pride in precision, understand the importance of infection prevention, and recognize that every properly sterilized instrument contributes to safe, successful patient outcomes. You are reliable, organized, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling Ability to lift up to 2550 pounds as needed Quick Apply Screening Questions Do you have Sterile Processing certification (CRCST, CBSPD, or equivalent)? How many years of Sterile Processing experience do you have? Have you worked in a hospital, surgery center, or healthcare facility? Are you experienced with instrument decontamination, assembly, and sterilization? Which sterilization methods and equipment have you worked with? Are you familiar with infection control standards and biological monitoring processes? Have you maintained sterilization logs and quality assurance documentation? Are you comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods? Are you available to work PRN/as-needed shifts? When are you available to start?
