Sterile Processing Technologist Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Sterile Processing Technologist to join our team. The Sterile Processing Technologist will be responsible for decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment to ensure the highest level of patient safety and infection control.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Decontaminate and disinfect surgical instruments and equipment Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality Assemble instrument trays and equipment sets Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient instrument processing
Qualifications and Skills:
