Sterile Processing Technologist Job Summary:
The Sterile Processing Technologist is responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of medical equipment and instruments used in healthcare facilities. They play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of patients by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sterility.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment Operate sterilization equipment in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance Stock and distribute supplies to various departments within the facility Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient instrument processing
Qualifications and Skills:
