Week Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of infection prevention practices, sterilization procedures, and quality standards to ensure the safe delivery of patient care.
Responsibilities:
Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment. Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization cycles. Prepare and distribute sterile instrument trays and supplies for procedures. Maintain accurate sterilization and inventory records. Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. Perform quality checks on instruments and equipment. Stock and organize sterile supplies within designated areas.
Requirements:
6 to 8 years of Sterile Processing experience required. BLS (AHA)

$30.00
