Position Summary We are seeking an efficient detail-oriented Central Services Technician to join our healthcare team in Glen Burnie, MD. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sterilization, and proper handling of medical instruments and supplies used throughout our facility. Key Responsibilities The following statements describe the general nature and level of work performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties. Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment using various sterilization methods and techniques. Inspect medical instruments and equipment for defects or damage and report any issues to appropriate personnel. Assemble and package sterilized instruments and supplies for distribution to various hospital departments. Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, including cycle times, temperatures, and quality control measures. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners. Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Manage inventory of sterile supplies and reorder as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.  Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 6 months of experience in Sterile Processing with experience in decontamination, assembly, sterilization and sterile storage. If no previous experience the incumbent must have completed or be currently enrolled in a Sterile Processing course. Sterile Processing certification preferred.

3:00pm-11:30pm , Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays.
