PRN Sterile Processing Tech At SurgCenter of Glen Burnie, we believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for your surgical procedure. Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of: General Surgery, Ear, Nose and Throat, Podiatry, Orthopedic Surgery, Pain Management, Outpatient Joint Replacement. The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
