This role encompasses processing and packaging medical supplies, overseeing instrument inventories, preparing case carts for surgical procedures, and ensuring that sterilizers operate correctly. This behind-the-scenes position demands careful attention to detail, technical expertise, strict compliance with safety protocols, and strong collaboration skills.
A Day in the Life Collect & handle used instruments, to treat with different chemicals to sterilize them for future usePackage, store and distribute instruments whilst providing strong documentation where needed and assignedMaintain records and update inventory to ensure all sterilized items are accounted forCoordinate and communicate with surgical teams to meet the demand for sterilized equipmentStaff Amenities & Work Environment
