  • Sterile Processing Technician to lead and oversee our sterile processing department.
This vital role ensures the proper sterilization, handling, and management of surgical instruments and medical equipment in compliance with strict safety and quality standards. The supervisor will coordinate daily operations, supervise staff, and maintain inventory control to support seamless surgical procedures and patient safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of sterile processing protocols, and a commitment to excellence in healthcare support services. Responsibilities Supervise daily sterile processing activities, ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use. Manage inventory levels of surgical supplies and equipment, implementing effective inventory control procedures to prevent shortages or overstock. Lead and train team members on aseptic techniques, sterilization procedures, and safety protocols to uphold compliance with healthcare regulations. Oversee documentation processes related to sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and quality assurance records. Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate instrument availability and ensure timely preparation for procedures. Conduct regular audits of sterilization processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to industry standards. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing infection control policies and proper handling of potentially contaminated materials.
MUST HAVE
Two years of Sterile Processing Experience required [
REQUIRED
] Certification on hire or within 6 months of hire required Must have a current BCLS certification.
