We are seeking an Electronic Imaging Technician to join our team and play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities Customer Service:

Utilize excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients and other professionals. Greet, receive, and direct customers for various activities throughout the department. Respond to customer needs and communicate special needs to the appropriate technologist.

Imaging and Clerical Duties:

Operate imaging file room equipment and perform clerical functions. Access reports, images, and other patient data via EPIC, PACS, or other related software systems. Fulfill requests for images by utilizing PowerShare or copying exams to a CD. Utilize a CD burner to import images and send to PACS. Ensure necessary images are available for surgical procedures. Provide clinical information to requesting physicians/offices within HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications Education:

High school graduate or GED required. Associate's degree preferred.

Skills and Experience:

Basic knowledge of computers is required. Medical terminology preferred. Previous healthcare experience preferred. Experience in Radiology and PACS preferred.
