Sterile Processing Team Leader - Full Time

The Sterile Processing Team Leader acts as the liaison between the operating room and Sterile Processing Department (SPD), ensuring appropriate and continuous delivery of instrumentation to provide a seamless throughput of the daily surgical schedule.

Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. 2. A minimum of one year of experience in a multi service line operating room. 3. Knowledge of surgical instrumentation. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

1. Proven Leadership ability. 2. Knowledge of patient care equipment, proper cleaning and disinfection techniques, and medical instrumentation and supplies. 3. Established ability to multitask and perform detailed work in a face paced environment. 4. Good communication skills.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

National Certification:

Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPDT).

Working Conditions:
