This position ensures all instruments, equipment, and treatment areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control, supporting the orthodontic team in delivering excellent patient care. Instrument Processing — Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize orthodontic instruments following OSHA, CDC, and practice protocols. Equipment Operation — Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and instrument washers; perform routine monitoring and documentation of sterilization cycles. Infection Control — Set up and break down treatment rooms, disinfect surfaces, and maintain strict adherence to infection‑control procedures. Inventory Management — Track, restock, and organize sterile instruments, disposables, and sterilization supplies. Quality Assurance — Conduct biological and chemical indicator testing, maintain logs, and report any equipment issues promptly. Support to Clinical Team — Assist orthodontic assistants with room turnover, tray setup, and workflow efficiency as needed. Compliance & Safety — Follow all regulatory guidelines and maintain a clean, organized sterilization area. Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to follow strict protocols Comfortable working in a fast‑paced clinical environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Prior sterilization or dental/medical experience preferred (but can be trained depending on office needs) benefits: medical, dental, vision (401K)
