Non -Certified Central Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician Posted 22-Apr-2026 (EST) Central Sterile Receiving 1500 North James Street, Rome, NY, USA 18.00-20.00 per hour Hourly Full Time Rome Health is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician to join our team. This role ensures surgical instruments, devices, and equipment are decontaminated, sterilized, prepared, and packaged for safe patient care. We provide a supportive environment and will train the right candidate to succeed, even if certification is not yet obtained.

Key Responsibilities:

Decontaminate, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments, devices, and equipment Inspect, assemble, and package instruments following established safety protocols Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Participate in flexible scheduling, including on-call, rotating weekends, nights, and holidays
