This position requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of aseptic techniques, anatomy, and medical terminology. The technician will work closely with healthcare professionals to support patient safety and the overall efficiency of surgical operations. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. Maintain accurate inventory management of sterile supplies and equipment. Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques during the processing of instruments. Conduct regular inspections of sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning. Document all sterilization processes and maintain records in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with surgical teams to understand instrument needs for upcoming procedures. Stay updated on best practices and advancements in sterile processing techniques. Requirements Knowledge of sterile processing procedures and aseptic techniques is essential.
