Job Description

Sterile Processing Manager Lead. Protect. Elevate Patient Safety. We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Sterile Processing Manager to lead critical sterilization and instrument processing operations within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role plays a vital part in patient safety by ensuring all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for use. What You Will Do Oversee the decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and storage of medical and surgical instruments in accordance with established protocols Ensure all instruments, trays, and equipment are accurately assembled and ready to support surgical and procedural teams Coordinate and distribute sterile supplies across departments to meet patient care needs Lead and support case cart preparation , ensuring alignment with physician preference cards and procedural requirements Monitor and document sterilization quality indicators (biological, chemical, and mechanical) to maintain compliance and safety standards Maintain inventory levels, receive supplies, and ensure efficient stock management within sterile processing and surgical areas Operate and maintain sterilization equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines Champion infection control practices and adherence to PPE and safety protocols Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance Ensure alignment with all regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards Foster a collaborative environment through strong communication and teamwork across clinical departments What You Bring Education High School Diploma or GED required Completion of a Sterile Processing Program preferred Certifications Sterile Processing Certification preferred Experience Previous sterile processing experience preferred Leadership or supervisory experience is a strong plus
