AL01 Job Summary A Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing medical instruments and equipment used in healthcare settings such as hospitals, surgical centers, and clinics. Their work ensures patient safety and infection control.

Responsibilities Duties:

Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and medical equipment Inspect instruments for damage and ensure proper functioning Assemble and package instrument trays according to procedure requirements Sterilize equipment using methods like steam, ethylene oxide, or hydrogen peroxide Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standard Manage inventory and restock sterile supplies Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare staff Experience 1 year of experience
