Supervisor- Sterile Processing - North

JOB SUMMARY

The Sterile Processing supervisor will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Sterile Processing department ensuring a clean, orderly and safe environment to meet the sterilization needs of the hospital. The individual will be responsible for supervising human resources in a leadership style conducive to maximum productivity and accuracy. The responsibility may include, but not be limited to: training, counseling and evaluating personnel.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training Minimum Work Experience Two years sterile processing experience Required Licenses/Certifications Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), Central Supply Processing Department Tech (CDPDT) or Certified Surgical Technician (CST) required Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Possesses the ability to plan and direct unit activities of the department to accommodate the instrument and supply needs of the hospital Designated Driver Yes OSHA Category 1 - High Risk
