BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo?s preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service, and dignity. Responsibilities A Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) is responsible for decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing medical instruments and equipment used in healthcare settings. This role is crucial in preventing infections and ensuring patient safety by maintaining strict sterilization standards.
Qualifications Job Requirements :
High School or GED.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician certification program. Certification through CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management).
