Full Job Description Responsibilities:
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for preparing and assembling medical and surgical supplies, instrumentation, and equipment, maintaining the sterile processing areas, and receiving and distributing surgical supplies and equipment.Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION
High School diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous sterile processing experience preferred.REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Certified Sterile Processing Technician through CBSPD or IAHCSMM required in an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Preferred in a Hospital setting. Certified through the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support required.REQUIRED SILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of infection control principles and good communication skills.ABOUT OAKBEND
