Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Central Processing Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, inspection, assembly, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment to support safe patient care. Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Duties:
- Perform sterile processing activities, including decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment
- Follow proper aseptic techniques to ensure the cleanliness and safety of all processed items
- Maintain accurate records of all processed items and sterilization cycles
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that all instruments and equipment meet the necessary standards for patient care
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of sterile supplies and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the sterilization process
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Previous experience in sterile processing or a related field is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
