How you'll contribute The Central Sterile Technician collects, decontaminates, stores and distributes all reusable supplies and patient care equipment in the hospital. A Central Sterile Technician who excels in this role: Provides inspection, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments and other patient care equipment in accordance with processing guidelines, AAMI, AORN, TJC, and OSHA requirements. Operates departmental equipment daily according to manufacturer instructions with emphasis on safety. Provides customer service to all departments with a focus on the patient need. Processes and documents all sterile supplies and equipment daily using chemical, biological and mechanical indicators to verify sterility in accordance with manufacturer instructions and hospital policy. Monitors and performs antimicrobial and disinfection solutions testing according to manufacturer instructions and documentation daily. What we're looking for High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Schedule Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm MST. Call is required.
