starts at $45/hour Job Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) responsible for supporting the Sterile Processing and Supply Department. The ideal candidate will have experience handling surgical instruments, sterilization equipment, and maintaining compliance with safety and infection control standards. Responsibilities Operate sterile processing equipment including washers and autoclaves Clean, assemble, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments and trays Inspect instruments to ensure proper functionality before use Accurately document missing instruments and sterilization records Maintain sterilizer test logs and load documentation Handle power equipment and surgical instrumentation safely Communicate effectively with operating room staff and other departments Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas Report equipment or instrument issues to management Support departmental process improvement initiatives Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to quality patient care Perform additional duties as assigned Required Skills Knowledge of sterile processing procedures and sterilization equipment Familiarity with surgical instruments and power equipment Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com
