Job Description
Teton Outpatient Services has an opening for a Sterile Processing Technician - Full Time. Teton Outpatient Services is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. Job Summary:
Under direction from the Clinical Director, the Sterile Processing Technician provides direct patient care by assisting patients and clinic staff with a variety of functions. This position will have a high focus on Central Sterile Processing and OR support, and will assist in PreOp and PACU as needed maintaining a clean and orderly patient care environment assisting nursing staff with appropriate patient care support. Under the direction of the Business Office Coordinator, will assist with preparing patient charts, reviewing and communicating schedule changes, scanning, and directing inbound calls. Consistently demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations. Monday-Friday work schedule! NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours! NO call required!Required Skills:
High School diploma or GED Medical Assistant or clinical training, preferred Sterile Processing experience or training, preferred Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards Ability to adapt to change quickly Effective communication and critical thinking skills BLS Certification accredited by AHA (current upon hire) Who We Are We are part of a much larger team with United Surgical Partners International (USPI).
